Bungee @ Bloukrans Bridge
The Bloukrans Bungy is the worlds highest commercial bungy bridge and also the highest commercial natural bungy jump in the World. Need we say more? Fear is temporary, regret is forever – let’s do this!
Heritage and adventure tours are available for the Cango Caves, situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well-known Swartberg Mountains, you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with vast halls and towering formations to explore.
What better way to explore the beauty of the Garden Route than canoeing languidly on a river? We do day tours in partnership with Eden Adventures as well as overnight tours through Sanparks. Whatever you like, we Can(oe) Do It!
Enjoy a leisurely walk through indigenous forest to where the Kaaimans & Silver Rivers meet. Here you can swim through magnificent canyons with the cliffs towering up above and for the adventurous there are a number of jumps off the rocks into the water, the highest being 11½ m. Half day trip. Special arrangements must be made for kids under 12 years old. This activity can be incorporated with abseiling for a full day tour.
Hiking (Wilderness, Knysna & Tsitsikamma)
Hiking in the different sections of the Garden Route National Park (Wilderness, Knysna & Tsitsikamma) is the best way to immerse yourself in the indigenous forests of the Garden Route. Let’s go in search of the Big Trees, the Kings of the forest, and get some good’ol exercise while we explore the natural splendour. Hikes are available for all fitness types, overnight hikes can be arranged on request 🙂
Hiking - Local Wreck Glentana
A firm favourite – this coastal hike to a little piece of South African history is lesser known, and often enjoyed by locals. You can just enjoy a lovely day on the beach or for those who are up for the challenge go past the wreck to Cave Bay. Day trips and overnight (beach camping) trips available.
Hiking - Outeniqua Mountains
The mountain range extends about 100 km from the Keurbooms Valley to the east to north of Mossel Bay, and offers spectacular hikes with amazing views over the Eden Valley. Hikes are available for all fitness types, overnight hikes can be arranged on request J
Fishing at Borrelfontein
Another firm favourite and one of the best kept local secrets. Spending an evening or two at Borrelfontein (roughly translated to bubble fountain) rejuvenates the soul. You can take a hike to the fountain or the lighthouse, or spend a day fishing – all the while being surrounded by the natural raw beauty of the Southern Cape.
There is something special about looking into the big beautiful eyes of an ostrich, standing on one of their almost unbreakable eggs and touching their soft feathered plumes. The road trip to the Klein Karoo over the Outeniqua Mountains is just as special. This half-day trip pairs well with the Cango Caves, and even some wine tasting.

Be prepared for tons of fun, laughter and games – and don’t you worry about a thing, your guide will get you take you around and get you back home safely, we’ll even make sure you have a bottle of water with some aspirin for the next day 😉
Redberry Strawberry Farm
Fun for the whole family can be found at the Redberry Farm – explore the largest permanent hedge maze in the Southern Hemisphere, pick strawberries, enjoy a pony ride or the Redberry Express Mini Train. The Red Shed Coffee & Berry Bar is also a must, with their ingenious incorporation of strawberries in just about everything.
Skydiving in the Garden Route is a magical experience – seeing for yourself how the mountains meets the ocean! Half day trip, weather dependant, grass or beach landing available. Pairs well with some wine tasting (for the nerves).
Sharks are closely associated with Mossel Bay and especially Rob Island (Seal Island). You can learn all about them and what is being done to conserve them, especially the great white shark as Mosselbay is one of South Africa’s top three white shark zones.
The Garden Route is also known for its amazing surf spots from Stillbaai to Natures Valley. Learn to surf, as many sessions as you prefer! Or if you can already surf, let’s make our way up the coast to visit all the best spots.
Stargazing - Little Karoo
The semi-dessert environment of the Klein Karoo right on the other side of the Outeniqua Mountains are perfect for stargazing. Spend a night under the milky way with an expert guide. This activity pairs well with the Cango Caves & Ostrich Farm visit which are also in the Klein Karoo.
Sandboard the ‘Dragon Dune’ – the biggest and longest sandboard ride in South Africa. Although it’s the biggest dune in South Africa, the focus is on having fun! Everyone welcome – beginners & pro’s, kids & adults. If you don’t feel confident enough to stand up on your board, you can also sit down or enjoy a belly board ride.
Learn about snakes and lizzards, and even interact with a few. The Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary is situated in The Crags, and a trip to the snake sanctuary can easily be paired with a visit to Birds of Eden, monkeyland & Jukani for a full day tour.
Waterfall Adventures at Schaapplaas
Another hidden gem! It’s almost impossible to put into words – following the hiking trail as it ascends through the indigenous forest and fynbos, passing waterfalls, swimming holes, and even Bushmen paintings. An overnight option is available in a rustic wooden cabin (highly recommended).
Wine Tasting Tour
There are various wine farms in the vicinity where you can have a wine tasting, great food and enjoy the spectacular views! Wine tastings pair well with a lot of the other activities listed and is a great way to end a day. We can also arrange beer tastings and farm visits if you’d like a more interactive tour.
